A little about
us...
We met
13 years ago in a college Literature class. A few years later we
had a beautiful wedding in Hawaii, and have been happily married
for eight years now. Our love, trust and respect for one another
continues to grow stronger as we share the joys and challenges
of life as soul mates, and as parents. Our daughter Lauren was
born in 2003, and she reminds us every day with the joy and
laughter she brings into our lives just how much we love
children… and how much we wish for another baby. We have several
friends who built their families with open adoptions. We realize
a family is created by love, and we will love and cherish your
baby as much as we do Lauren.

Where we live...
We live in Portland, Oregon, in a family oriented community. We share our spacious four bedroom home with our dog, Ernie, and our cat, Groucho (for Groucho Marx). We live on a private cul-de-sac, where it's safe for both adults and children to play. Our home is a short walk to our neighborhood park where Michelle and Lauren love to swing, slide and, of course, play in the sand. Our home is a place where we
feel comfort and peace, and our family and friends do as well.

Parenting has been such a great experience that we can't wait to
be parents again! All of our extended family and circle of
friends are excited about our plans for adoption and will
welcome our new baby with love and affection. |
